We
are aware that the majority of our guests, like ourselves, usually
prefer the unconstrained independence of self-catering but there
are those occasions when you crave to be spoilt and thoroughly pampered
in a beautiful hotel. Sami Beach Hotel is just such a place.
With a backdrop of mountains and set just back from the beach on the majestic Bay of Sami this handsome hotel has been very attractively designed.
A sun terrace, verdant lawns, flowers and shrubs surround the beautiful swimming pool, which is amply provided with sun loungers and colourful umbrellas. The relaxing open-air bar provides refreshments and is perfect for that pre of after dinner drink.
The
interior of the hotel is cool and elegant, successfully combining
a restful lounge area with a spacious bar and in the dining area
buffet breakfast is laid out for guests every morning. The well-furnished
bedrooms are en-suite and have telephone and radio. Each bedroom
has a private balcony enjoying panoramic views of the delightful
Bay of Sami or the splendid mountains.
It is impossible not to feel at home here not just because the hotel is so extremely comfortable but because its resident owners Yannis, his wife Marianna and brother Pericles have the knack of making their guests feel thoroughly at ease.
With
such an attractive setting and such perfect hosts, it is quite conceivable
that you might choose to while away your entire holiday here but,
if you can bear to tear yourself away, Sami Beach is ideally located
to explore all the delights of Cephalonia.
Near the hotel the pretty hamlet of Karavomilos offers a small selection of tavernas / restaurants or a short walk along the beach takes you to Sami which boasts a wider choice of dining spots, shops and delightful waterfront.
With the hotel's position and the unique atmosphere created by Yannis and his family it is not surprising that guests return year on year making Sami Beach the envy of many.
