Set on a quiet hillside in an eleven acre olive grove where many of the ancient trees have been retained, this private and gated Shangri-La provides wonderful panoramic views to the sea. Here Vasilis and Diane have created four superb stone villas built in a time honoured way to the highest specifications and incorporating many traditional features with wooden floors throughout - there are no plastered walls and faceless concrete here.

Soft furnishings distinguish each villa; there is Kitrino (Yellow), Mple (Blue), Prasino (Green) and Kokino (Red). Each fully air-conditioned villa has a comfortable lounge and dining area with a traditional fireplace. TV is provided in the lounge and both of the bedrooms, there is a DVD player, a music system and internet connection. Two sets of double doors from the lounge give access to the lovely furnished patio with sea views. The fully fitted kitchen hosts a series of electrical appliances and has a large fridge/freezer, full sized cooker, a microwave and a dishwasher. The ground floor accommodation is completed by a twin bedroom with double door access to the rear patio and there is a separate shower room/toilet. The open plan staircase accesses a three sided gallery overlooking the lounge and with windows giving views to the sea and surrounding hills; the exposed roof beams are a lovely feature. Off the gallery is the main double bedroom again with double doors to a balcony and there is a fabulous en-suite bathroom.

In addition to the patios surrounding each villa there is a large paved private pool area; the pools are large (7m x 4.5m) and each area has a stone built barbeque, loungers, chairs, table and umbrella – the perfect spot to relax and drink in the views.

A car is included; close by is a choice of often deserted pristine pebbled beaches of moonlike opalescence and the almost impossibly clear blue sea; the nearby villages of Stavros and Frikes offer an excellent choice of tavernas and restaurants.

Ithaca is an island that ‘happens’ to you - there can be few better places than Pilikas Villas to experience this.

The price includes:
Accommodation on a self-catering basis.
Taxi transfers to and from your accommodation and Cephalonia airport based on a maximum four adults sharing.
Scheduled ferry transfers from Cephalonia to Ithaca and return.
(Private boat transfer between Cephalonia & Ithaca can be arranged at an extra cost.)
Taxi transfers to and from Pilikata and Vathi or Piso Aetos based on a maximim four adults sharing.
For our guests travelling as a couple who prefer their own private taxi for their transfers we will be pleased to arrange this.
The supplement for the journeys to and from your accommodation on this basis is £90.00.

Cleaning & linen change twice weekly but please note that beach towels are not provided.

Car hire is included with your accommodation; the car supplied will be a group A1 with A/C, which may be upgraded at additional cost.
