Set on the southern end of the Pali peninsula, the Spiaggia Lodges are a unique hideaway, a hidden paradise and a peaceful haven set virtually on the beautiful sandy beach at Vatsa overlooking the Ionian Sea. You are miles from any form of commercialisation in an area of exquisite beauty where a tranquil river flows to the sea through a small, secluded valley bordered by pine and olive trees.
Four lodges offer a superb riverside location within a few steps of the secluded sandy beach. Each lodge has air conditioning, a comfortable lounge with television and a DVD player. There is a small kitchenette with two hobs and a refrigerator and completing the ground floor a good sized shower room/toilet. The open plan staircase leads to the gallery twin bedroom which also accesses the double bedroom with lovely views of the river.
The rear of each lodge has a shaded sun terrace perfect for relaxing and al fresco dining and there is your own jetty where you are welcome to fish.
This unique location is complimented by the beachside taverna which has a tremendous reputation. Enjoy the pleasures of excellent Greek cuisine where the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. The taverna, open every day from mid-morning until late, offers first-class fish and seafood caught daily by the local fishermen. The fruit and vegetables provided are all organically grown in the grounds.
The atmosphere and tranquillity of Vatsa has drawn celebrities and politicians from around the world to enjoy a relaxing day here.
For this away from it all location a car is essential in order to enjoy all that the island has to offer and yacht charter and small private boat hire can be arranged.
